Summer time is here, which for us means cranking the AC and avoiding eating anywhere outside for lunch. Sorry, Pop-Up Park—we love you, but it’s just too hot out there. Aside from the impending heat waves, we’ve had a great start to the year so far, and our summer schedule is quickly getting filled up with a variety of different projects.
For instance, today we’re excited to once again have Jupiter Entertainment in our studio. The last time they were here, they were filming interviews for a BTK documentary for the Oxygen Network called Notorious, and today they’re just finishing up the last of their interviews with veteran KAKE News reporter Larry Hatteberg. Our studio was once again filled with Pelican cases and camera gear, and an extremely hardworking and courteous crew. It’s a joy to watch these folks work, and we’re thrilled that they wanted to use us again for their shoot.
Their production manager, Rachel, said that “For us, World Studios is a one-stop shop for everything you need in production. It’s soundproof, there’s tons of space, and the team is super welcoming and helpful. In a world where it’s so hard to find a perfect studio, you come here and it’s like, you’ve found it.” We love making clients happy, and it’s a joy to hear that our clients love our studio. Big thanks once again to Jupiter Entertainment and their team—we can’t wait to work with them again.
On the editing side of things, we’re also finishing up some marketing materials for the Chamber of Commerce in advance of their 2018 Expo event. We created an Interactive Learning Presentation (or ILP for short) that helps guide businesses through the process of signing up for the Expo, as well as offering general information on the Chamber and the event itself. This wouldn’t be our first partnership with the Chamber—we worked on their flag day video that went out in June, and we’ve since become members of the organization. We attended their Expo event last year, and this year we’re helping create some promotional materials for the 2018 conference. We love what the Chamber does for our city, and we’re excited any time we get to work with them.
Despite the hustle and bustle, there’s still some availability left this summer at our studio, but it’s filling up very quickly. Give us a call at 1 (316) 771-5050 ext. 206 to schedule a tour.
